1. Where do you get your ideas?
Anywhere and everywhere. I travel quite a bit, am interested in many different subjects and read a lot. I usually always have a sketchbook nearby and scribble out ideas and characters and painting ideas at random.

2. What do you paint with?
Usually I use acrylic paints on canvas. But every once in a while I paint with oil paints. I experiment painting on different things - wood, styrofoam, different types of paper, wallpaper, metal - just about anything.
3. What type of acrylic paints do you use?
Most of my paints are Schmincke brand. They are a high-quality paints from Germany. Since I apply the paint on thickly I like the consistency of the Schmincke paints.
My paintings are created using thick acrylic paints on stretched canvas.
Ready to Hang!
The sides of the canvas are painted so each work of art is ready to hang. (No need to frame your original art.)
Each painting is handsigned and dated on the front using paint.
On the back of each painting I also sign and date the art work using acrylic paints and add the title of the painting.
On the back I have attached the hardward to make hanging your painting easier. Your painting is ready to hang!
4. So you paint mainly on canvas?
Yes. Most of my paintings are created on stretched canvas over a wooden inner frame. These high-quality canvas are made from heavy-weight cotton, covered with a coating of gesso that has been handsanded.

Most of the paintings I create on canvas are in the size from 50 x 70 cm up to 100 x 140 cm. (approx 19.8 x 27.8 inches to 39.6 x 55.6 inches).
LIke I said I do paint on other objects. I just finished up a commissioned work of art that was constructed of 20 wooden boxes fastened together. The painting was over 4 x 5 1/2 feet in size.
